     A KILLING        QUICK  PREQUEL

The most violent place in North America in the 1990s was a fifty-mile area of ghost towns and cotton fields stretched along the Mexico-Texas border known as Murder Valley. The only place worse was El Hoyo—a lawless town controlled by a crime syndicate of drug smugglers and human traffickers. An area the police and army didn’t go to. At the height of violence in 1999, a mysterious black stranger upsets the order of things with his arrival. He’s on a mission to find someone and is determined not to let anything stop him. But when he saves a young woman from sex traffickers, he ends up on the run with a bounty on his head and with the girl. The unlikely pair are destined for the same fate if they can’t find a way to escape El Hoyo.
